"Ultra" Tim Davis

I highly recommend reading or listening to "Ultra" Tim's Book: 'Tripolar: The Story of a Bipolar Triathlete.'

In this episode we Zoom on over to Los Angeles, California where "Ultra" Tim Davis has just logged in with his favorite beverage. And I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say I am extremely curious as to what this 7x 100mile Ultra Runner has as his favorite beverage. Tim and I jump right in to his page turning autobiography that will have your HR in Zone5 within the first few chapters. Tim bravely shares the traumatic and tragic loss of his father in a sudden accident when Tim was only 13 years old. Tim endured years of blame for the accidental death of his father. He also endured relentless physical and verbal abuse by a family member he struggled to look up to. Drugs and Alcohol were Tim's coping mechanisms from a young age and on into adulthood.

Tune in and hear how with the loving support of his devoted wife, Mariah, Tim's Bipolar diagnosis and Mental Healthcare Treatment along side his venture into Triathlon and Ultra Running gave new meaning to Tim's overall WHY in LIFE.

Extremely grateful for Tim's bravery in sharing his story on my show. Tim and his family's courage to reveal the raw truth about the effects of mental illness and addiction provides a beacon of hope for so many that are in the dark.
