However, influenced by his extreme and literal-minded naivety—alongside a sinister, malevolent Cricket (voiced by Robert Englund) and an anti-Blue Fairy known as the Woodmother—Pinocchio decides that he must eliminate everything "bad" to protect James and keep him safe  Prompted by his twisted moral compass, Pinocchio embarks on a bloody slasher-style rampage, violently attacking people and stealing actual human body parts from his victims in a misguided quest to physically transform into a real boy.
