It's a BJJ deep dive as Shane Sweeney chatted with me from the new gym for the Limerick Slideby on Thomas Street.Also featured are Larry Sherin, Toby Hughes (aka Spiderman...) and Niall Ó hAotáin who took time out from training to discuss how they got into BJJ and how it has helped transform their lives. The Limerick Slideby are a Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts gym that is an extension of Pedigo Submission Fighting Head Quarters. This gym is created to create a Global hub for Jiu Jitsu catering to beginners and professional athletes.

Dominic Hougham chats to me about his new book The Greatest Rivalry: Arsenal, Manchester United and the Battle that Defined an Era. We discuss what made this rivalry so good, the key figures in it and also how this clash played a key part in earning the Premier League its place as the most followed league in the World.We also talk about Dominic's other book Veni, Vidi, Vici: When Italian Football Ruled Europe and how for a generation it wasn't the Premier League that was the main draw but the exotic stadia of Italy and teams like Napoli, Milan and Parma.

My guest this week is Sean Moriarty, founder and editor of Kerry Motorsport News, the country's only dedicated motorsport title.I chat to Sean about his background in motorsport, where the idea came from, the rally scene in Kerry and how integral it is in the county and also what a weekend at the Rally of the Lakes is like.We also take time to pay tribute to Paul McGlinchey who recently passed away. Paul was well-known and a respected and talented rally co-driver across Kerry and the West Coast. Over his career, Paul competed for many years alongside his Lisselton neighbour Eddie Kennelly, with the pair earning Top Part West Coast Rally Championship honours in 2022. In 2024, he also navigated Sean Og Scanlon to Class 2A victory in the Top Part West Coast Championship in a Honda Civic.

Ahead of the start of the Nations Championship Jamie Wall chatted with me about things from the New Zealand perspective.
