What Is Life? (Discovering New Things)
"Foreigners in Korea"
Season 1, Ep. 5
•
The subject was supposed to be foreigners in general but we decided to change the subject to foreigners in Korea to be more specific.
Don't forget that we are not scientists or professionals. Just people talking around. Hope nobody feels offended by what we say. But this is just our perspectives based on our experiences.
Anyways hope you enjoy!
Below are some of the questions I wanted to talk about during this episode. Although we didn't talk about it in this podcast ahahah sorry waffles :D.
You can still read it and ponder about the answers to these questions.
"Is it easy or hard to live abroad as a foreigner?" (Generally speaking, even if it's 51% hard 49% easy)
- What is a foreigner?
- Why do people live abroad?
- Why do countries accept foreigners?
- What are some general difficulties foreigners can have abroad?
- What are some perks foreigners might have being abroad?
- Why are some people xenophobic?
- Are illegal immigrants doing a bad thing by illegally entering a country?
- Should countries welcome illegal immigrants or kick them out?
- What about refugees?
- Can a foreigner ever integrate to a society?
- Does nationality matter? Why can't humans just be earthlings?
- What if there were no borders? Would the world be a better place?
- Is it hard to live abroad or easy?

4. "Is anybody actually free?"
01:35:12||Season 1, Ep. 4Hi Whaffles,This time we invited a guest and not a ghost. So we have a new voice you can hear. : DWe talk here about freedom. We were just wondering if anybody is actually free when almost all of us live in societies that are full of rules and norms. Also it seems that we are free but we actually make decisions based on what other people decide for us (like elections, where we choose people among those that the government chose to put in front of us).We talk about several subjects and don't forget we are just talking our minds out and we are no experts. Just friends talking around interesting subjects. So listen with a grain of salt and don't forget to fact check anything you plan to use in the future. Here's some of the questions we wanted to cover, but not all questions were covered in this podcast. What is freedom? What are some types of freedom? If we have limitations doesn't it technically restrict our freedomIf we wanna be really free should we live in an island by ourselves?Once there's a society and many ppl involved is it inevitable to restrict other's freedom? Is freedom of speech dead? When is it okay to restrict freedom? (Restricting people from doing bad things)Do we have free will? Or is everything destined to happen? :DDo rich people have more freedom than poor people?Who decides the restrictions put into our freedom?Thank you and have an amazing day, week, month, year and have a good life! Good luck!WAFE
