83. Dear digital, we need to talk… w/ Dr Kristy Goodwin, Digital Wellbeing & Neuro-productivity Speaker, Author and Researcher
At the risk of making you anxious I have something to tell you; if we’re not careful, we could spend as much as 17 years of our lives staring at our devices if we don’t do something about our digital habits. In this conversation Dr Kristy Goodwin shares the details of an accident with one of her boys that fuelled her determination to help us all to become the master of our devices rather than slaves to our screens. She explains how our devices trigger our fight or flight response, why our devices have such a magnetic pull and practical, do-able changes we can put into place to put us back in control and give us more time back. Time for work we care about, time with our families, time doing the things we only have one lifetime to do.
