We Gotta Talk About...

Here's basically a sneak peak into the usual random things we talk about when we record....we didn't have a theme this week and just took a break from talking about one topic and kinda just talked 🤷🏾‍♀️ We discuss tv shows, movies, and books we've been watching and reading during quarantine, talk about coronavirus, people travelling, politics, therapy... all the things Thanks for listening!

Well...we tried to stay off these innanets but we couldn't resist talking about the inauguration. So here's a special episode of what we thought about what went down this week.

People are wildin on the internet...From attacking strangers for liking a different basketball team to girls being extra af on their friends posts to learning about racism for the first time social media is a crazy place to live half your life, but here we are. We spend so much time on a number of social media sites, but how do we actually engage with people and topics when we have the ability to hide behind our screens? It's a slippery slope and we're here to talk about it.

We gotta talk about women in sports. So many female athletes in the US can't even be professional athletes full time, get ripped apart by the media, and outright harassed by fans when they do something they don't like.In this episode we talk about..The Williams sisters and growing up seeing Black women become household names in tennis. How media portray both female broadcasters and athletes. We're officially back with new episodes!
