Tackling COVID-19 with Light

This podcast features OSA’s global network of student chapters deploying light technologies to hospitals in limited-resource countries to help keep their healthcare workers safe as they fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Leveraging a simple and economical way to decontaminate N95 respirator masks using UV-C light, our student chapter members and their advisers are tackling personal protection equipment shortages due to the COVID-19 pandemic in countries including Ethiopia, Ghana, Brazil, India, and Mexico, helping hospital staff via this OSA Foundation initiative.
