Is Pluto a Planet? The BIG Debate from We Are Not Scientists

UNBELIEVABLE! So last week we received THIS MESSAGE on the WANS message boards, from… PLUTO !!!

‘Hi, I’m Pluto, busy as ever minding my own business on the edge of this big old Solar System. Once I was one of the nine Planets and called behemoths like Jupiter and Saturn, and even your very own Earth, my brothers and sisters. I was super happy being a Planet, but in your Earth year 2006 those nasty pastys at the so-called ‘IAU’ decided to ‘downgrade’ me and kick me out of the Planets gang. And I’ve spent the past seventeen Earth years as an outcast, trying to get back my rightful place back in the gang. Dear WANS, please could you remind the Earthlings of my sad story in one of your podcast episodes? And if there’s anything you can do to help me in my bid for re-classification as a Planet, please do get in touch. All my best, Pluto... 'The Happy Ex-Planet' x’

Sure thing Pluto! And HERE IT IS, a BIG debate all about you and your mission, hope you like it and please do get in touch if we can be of further assistance. All our best, The WANS Crew | Commander LP | Krystel Queen of the Servers | Simon (no nickname)
