Wallop Wrecords: Jet Vs. First Aid Kit
01:21:18|New episode of Wallop Wrecords is up and this oneâs a bit of a contrastâŚWeâre putting Jetâs Get Born up against First Aid Kitâs Stay Gold.On one side, Get Born is all swaggerâloud guitars, big hooks, and that early 2000s rock attitude that either still rips or feels like a time capsule depending on who you ask.On the other, Stay Gold is smooth, layered, and full of those haunting harmonies First Aid Kit does so well. Itâs the kind of album that sneaks up on you the more you sit with it.Two totally different records, but thatâs kind of the fun of it.đď¸ Kyle Joseph & Rylan Turner break it all downâwhat works, what doesnât, and which one weâd actually go back to.Give it a listen and let us know where you land.

Over/Under: All time Sitcoms (Part 1)
01:55:47|In what might spiral into a full-blown four-part saga (because narrowing down sitcoms is basically impossible), Kyle, Rylan, and Tiffany are back behind the mics for a brand new episode of Over/Under.This time, theyâre diving headfirst into the all-time sitcom rankingsâdebating, defending, and probably offending as they try to decide what truly belongs at the top. From âpivot!â-level classics to shows that aged⌠letâs say like milk, nothing is safe.Expect hot takes, nostalgia, and the kind of arguments that would make George Costanza quit the room, Michael Scott declare bankruptcy, and Barney Stinson write an entire playbook about being right.Where do legends like Seinfeld, The Office, Parks & Rec, Friends, and Itâs Always Sunny actually land? Whatâs overrated? Whatâs criminally underrated? And how many times will someone say âthis is a top 5 showâ before the list completely falls apart?Itâs chaotic. Itâs passionate. Itâs definitely not the final word.Check out the latest episode of Over/Under now.
Wallop Wrecords: Audioslave vs. Home Free
01:09:43|Kyle and Rylan are back with another episode of Wallop Wrecords, and this time the format gets a little more personal. Instead of reviewing the same album, each host picked an album they love and challenged the other to give it a full listen and review.Kyle brings Home Freeâs Crazy Life to the table, putting Rylan into the world of the country a cappella groupâs blend of harmonies, vocal percussion, and country influences. Meanwhile, Rylan fires back with Audioslaveâs self-titled debut album, handing Kyle a dose of heavy riffs, Chris Cornellâs powerhouse vocals, and the supergroup chemistry of former Rage Against the Machine members.Throughout the episode, the guys break down both albums track by track, talk about standout songs, surprises, and moments that didnât quite land. From massive rock anthems to layered vocal arrangements, the conversation turns into a friendly musical showdown as each host tries to make the case for their pick. Will Kyle come away with a new appreciation for Audioslaveâs explosive debut? Will Rylan be converted by the harmonies and style of Home Free? Or will both albums leave the other host scratching their head? Two hosts. Two very different albums. One entertaining debate on Wallop Wrecords.
Wallop Rewind: WCW Starrcade '92 BATTLEBOWL
01:45:55|Rylan Turner and Vince welcome Will Gray back to the program to break down one of the strangest and most entertaining WCW pay-per-views of the early â90s â Starrcade 1992: BattleBowl! The show took place December 28, 1992 at The Omni in Atlanta and revolved around WCWâs chaotic âLethal Lotteryâ concept, where wrestlers were randomly paired into tag teams throughout the night. The winners advanced to the main event BattleBowl battle royal, creating some of the most bizarre and unpredictable team-ups youâll ever see.The card is stacked with early â90s WCW talent including Sting, Big Van Vader, Dustin Rhodes, Ricky Steamboat, The Great Muta, Cactus Jack, and more, all thrown into completely random partnerships that range from surprisingly good⌠to absolutely ridiculous. The guys also talk about the Sting vs. Vader King of Cable Final, which is basically 20 straight minutes of Sting getting absolutely mauled while Vader dishes out one of the most brutal beatdowns WCW TV ever put on a babyface. Itâs a stiff, chaotic match that somehow still manages to be one of the most memorable parts of the show.In what might go down as one of the funniest Wallop Media retro review episodes yet, the guys laugh their way through the madness â from questionable booking decisions to the pure insanity that only early â90s WCW could produce. If you love weird wrestling history, chaotic booking, and three guys trying to make sense of peak WCW nonsense, this episode is for you.
