The City God - an audio story
•
I have had this idea to make audiobook versions of my short stories for some time and this is me, doing it. I am counting this as a new episode 1 because this is the first thing going out to patrons ($2 and above). The podcast was previously public.
Also, I was recording after ages. So the sound design on this one is clunky. Let me know what you think in the comments.

The Imaginary Bridge - an audiostory
05:26|A tiny story set in Ramayana-era Lanka, featuring two guards. I have been wondering if I can voice more than one character by myself. Clearly, it needs work. Will get better over time I guess.I tried naming all the patrons in the credits section but found it was making the audio file longer by almost a third. So I did it in the video version of it on YouTube.Music: Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Sound effects from Freesound.orgThe Dying King - an audiostory
04:58|Today's story is about mortality. You can read a text version of it here. What pushed this story out of me was a scene in Osamu Tezuka's graphic novel series Buddha. Basically, there was this guy who found himself paralysed after he found out when he was going to die. And I was like, there has to be a way to beat this paralysis.Music: Kevin MacLeodThe MP3 file is freely downloadable and if you want to save it to your hard drive, you can totally do so. If you want, you can also email it to your friends. The Vaanar Who Flew - A Story (Hindi)
08:00|I have a problem with depictions of Hanuman where he is little more than an angry, brooding, musclebound hero. He has always meant something more to me -- someone brave enough to doubt himself. Valmiki Ramayan makes several mentions of Hanuman's fears. So I wrote a story about self belief and put Hanuman in it. This story is a personal favourite. Also, this is the first episode I have made with sound effects in it. I hope I didn't go overboard. Let me know! Also, this is the first episode to have patrons listed in the credits at the end. Do listen till the end. Or... you know... watch.Because Radio Vimoh is now also on YouTube! You can subscribe to it here. I have been trying to put my audio content on as many platforms as possible, and frankly, YouTube is kind of a no-brainer when it comes to India, where podcasts aren't really mainstream. So people use YouTube to listen to audio as well. Perhaps you do too -- you know -- keep a tab open with music playing while you go about doing other things.---Music:White Lotus Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 Licensehttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/Sound Effects:https://freesound.org/The Juggler's Joy - an audiostory
05:47|This week's story is about the why of doing things. You can read the text version of this story here.Music: Kevin MacLeodPS: The MP3 is downloadable and DRM free. Feel free to save it to your hard drive or even email it to your friends.Krishna's Song - An audiostory (Hindi)
05:56|This episode of Radio Vimoh has a story called Krishna's Song. I wrote it a few years ago and then translated it into Hindi. I don't have much Hindi content because I have predominantly always written in English, but let me know how you like this and if you would like to hear more Hindi stories. Most of my work will still be in English though. Background Music"Concentration"Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com)Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/PS: Podcast episodes are downloadable BTW.
