The preseason is almost over, and the biggest question surrounding the Minnesota Vikings is only getting louder: What happens now with J.J. McCarthy?Stitch and BJ break down another uneven preseason performance from McCarthy, whether his struggles are physical or mental, and why the Vikings may simply be in the wrong place at the wrong time to wait for their former first-round pick to develop.Meanwhile, Kyler Murray continues getting work with the starters, Carson Wentz is suddenly making the quarterback depth chart interesting, and the pressure is mounting on Kevin O’Connell to make this talented Vikings roster a winner. The guys also look ahead to the final preseason game against Denver, debate what Minnesota should ultimately do with J.J., somehow find their way back to Kirk Cousins, and completely disagree on the Vikings’ new Rivalries uniforms. The regular season is almost here. The roster looks ready to win.But do the Vikings finally have the quarterback to do it?SKOL!

The Vikings are finally back on the field, and Stitch and BJ have plenty to unpack after Minnesota’s first preseason game. From Carson Wentz looking like the best quarterback on the field to growing concerns about J.J. McCarthy’s development and what Kyler Murray can bring to this offense, the quarterback conversation is already heating up. Plus, the guys break down an impressive Vikings defense, Dallas Turner’s continued emergence, the heartbreaking injury to Jamal Adams, and whether this roster is simply too talented to wait for the quarterback position to figure itself out. Is it way too early to panic? Probably. Are Stitch and BJ going to panic anyway? Absolutely. And according to BJ, the solution might be simple: the Vikings just need to be “gooder.”SKOL!
