Welcome to this week's A View from the Wings - the Moorlands Radio Arts & Entertainment Podcast.


This week we are excited that the Autumn Season is nearly upon us. We talk Tigerfest which features some excellent bands across two venues, The Rigger and the Artisan Tap with all proceeds going to conserving tigers in their natural habitat across the world.


We hear from the organiser of the Windrush Generation Festival which takes place at Smithfield Park in Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent and is a celebration of the Caribbean culture that came to our shores in the early 50's which helped to rebuild Britain after WW2.


We take a look at what's on across the pubs amd entertainment venues across North Staffordshire and South Cheshire in the next week or so.


Finally, how do you know we are in August? Simples... we look forward to the Christmas Panto and shows which are launching next week. No we're not! Oh yes we are! It's behind you! No it's not, this episode is in front of you so enjoy the show.
