I’d love an Easter egg off Neil Warnock

Season 7, Ep. 31

It's not really a coherent episode this week but Cardiff City aren't really a coherent football club. It's a bit of a therapy session, cathartic, It was helpful for us to get stuff off our chest. Cardiff City are looking slightly cooked in the relegation battle. We're slightly cooked, too. It's been a long season.

    Finally, Cardiff City has appointed its new manager. We talk about BBM, Brian, Barry, and Murphy in this episode. It was a YouTube/Twitter live so some of the commentary relates to comments left by viewers/
  • 1. Three Men and a Mental Breakdown

    01:09:55||Season 8, Ep. 1
    I want to say this episode is full of the wit and warmth of a new season, but in truth, we've managed to get an hour out of us saying it's all a complete shambles and none of us know what's going on. There are some nuggets about tactics and systems, but really, it's just us three having a bit of a moan after thinking there may be a new manager to discuss. Knowing this club, it'll probably be out of date by Monday lunchtime. Anyway, enjoy it if you can. What a shambles!
  • 36. VFTN Season Review Pod

    01:04:38||Season 7, Ep. 36
    The season is done and it’s not been fun, so here’s a podcast, one last one. The relegation rollercoaster has reached its stop, a new manager needed, one to take us back to the top. The summer gives us a bit of a break but never fear, dear listeners, pods will be in their usual place. Just a bit less frequent.
  • 35. I love a naan

    01:18:24||Season 7, Ep. 35
    And with that, Cardiff City's 24/25 season has ended. Because Phillips is running a half marathon in Sydney, Ryan March from Alternative Wales joins us to talk about Norwich, the direction the club is going in, and just what a disaster it all is. Ken Choo out.
  • 34. Where exactly is Port Vale anyway?

    01:03:52||Season 7, Ep. 34
    Cardiff City have finally been relegated. The inevitable has happened. It felt like a slow road to relegation, but after drawing with WBA, other results confirmed our fate. This is a bit of a therapy session, so hopefully it brings you some catharsis.
  • 33. New Manager Bounce

    01:27:01||Season 7, Ep. 33
    The hope drains out of the pod this week after Cardiff City drew 1-1 with Oxford. After Aaron Ramsey took over, we were full of hope, but that hope has been extinguished thanks to a world-class strike from Oxford. The boys discuss that game and look ahead to West Brom. We also hear from Mark Lewis, a Cardiff City fan from Merthyr who has been working with PHS on their Back in the Game campaign. Their Back In The Game report is here. We spoke to Mark about Cardiff City, how his illness has impacted going to games, and the work he's been doing to get sanitary bins in male toilets at football grounds. • 32. Emergency Pod: Ramsey at the wheel

    43:04||Season 7, Ep. 32
    This episode was originally broadcast as a live stream on YouTube and Twitter. Cardiff City sack Omer Riza and Aaron Ramsey has taken over. Could it be too little, too late? Probably. But it is exciting!
  • 30. Groundhog day at Kupiar

    01:12:10||Season 7, Ep. 30
    Yep, back again (shoutout to Smiv) with another alarmingly similar podcast to last week. Another week, another disappointing draw this time away in the sun of West London. Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers toiled to a 0-0 draw, with little goalmouth action and little fun to be had. You know the drill by now. Cardiff City fans, get cathartic with us.
