VGMP: Videogame Movie Podcast

In this episode of VGMP the boys take a look at the Japanese Sonic The Hedgehog OVA from 1996 which was released in western territories as Sonic The Hedgehog The Movie. It's an animated movie that definitely makes some interesting choices when it comes to voice cast and some of the more "anime" elements found in the film (yes, Robotnik kidnaps a cat-girl then fantasises about having an entire brood of children with her, it's weird, we move past it.)

The boys take their first foray into this long-running Japanese RPG series with this animated short; Persona 5: The Day Breakers. Will they be able to understand anything without knowing the deep lore of the franchise?

The boys go back to the Pokemon franchise this week to tackle the second movie in this franchise. Revolving around the legendary bird Pokemon from the original 150, how will this movie compare to the previous entry, Mewtwo vs Mew?
