This week we discuss the International Break. A time which many fans dislike, feel like is an interruption, causes fatigue, fills calendars with pointless friendlies, stops momentum... the list is endless. But is there a solution?
And what is that solution? How do we manage the African Cup of Nations and the National League? Do we change to a winter break? And are some domestic managers to blame? Have we become too soft? And is English football becoming more awash with internationals due to dual nationalities?
Is it needed in a World Cup year like 2026 is?
