"Free" | September Message Series on the Book of Galatians
Every one of us is searching for freedom in some way - freedom from burdens, shame, guilt, and expectations of others. Lots of things in our lives make promises to give freedom, but the problem is that they can’t deliver on those promises. Jesus came to give us true freedom, and He always delivers on all of His promises. Through this September series in the Book of Galatians, we’re learning how to avoid the trap of the world and the enemy that leads to bondage and seeking to understand what true freedom looks like through Jesus alone.
Season 2 Episode 8 of Unschooled and Ordinary discusses adoption into the family of God with special guests, Jeff and Nichole McCardle.

Selfish, angry, prideful, jealous, explicit, divisive, mean-spirited, and sexual impurity? These are all words Paul uses in Galatians 5 to describe what it means to live driven by the desires of our flesh. But what if you and I chose to interact with our world as people of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control? Paul calls these words the "Fruit of the Spirit," characteristics produced when the Spirit of God is at work in a person's life. The Fruit of the Spirit is not just for us but that we would be people who produce love, joy, and peace so that others have a chance to "taste and see that the Lord is good."(Psalm 34)Episode Resources:Episode 15 Study GuideBible Reading Plan & Devos "Taste & See" Message SeriesFind a House ChurchVenture Church Original PodcastsVenture Church Website14. 14 | Faithfulness
