Twist and Shout with Aljaz and Janette

Are Aljaž and Janette ready? The big day is around the corner and their excitement levels as well as their nervousness are high. They check in with all their listeners to get some last bits of advice, and they also give each other one last present before officially becoming mum and dad.

Aljaz and Janette invite their family to talk about baby names, what they were like as children, and get some great advice on becoming parents. Janette’s mother Maritza, is full of embarrassing baby stories, and Aljaz’s sister Lara talks about Aljaz being the best big brother and uncle. But will they ever agree on a baby name?

As first time parents, getting all the item you need to be ready for the baby’s arrival can be really confusing. Baby product expert Marcelle, from the very useful Mum and Me App, gives Aljaz and Janette a breakdown of what is really necessary as a first time parent. And she also brings some pretty interesting items, that Janette and Aljaz have never seen or heard of before!

“Work life balance” are 3 words thrown around a lot lately. But how do you actually do it? Aljaz and Janette speak to Dragon’s Den Star, Sara Davies about finding the right balance between running a huge business, but also being an incredible parent to her children. And they also share some behind the scenes fun of Aljaz and Sara’s time on Strictly Come Dancing together.

What will Aljaz and Janette be like as parents? We do a quick fire round of questions to get a deeper insight I to their parenting styles. They are also joined by Louise Boyce, social media star and author of “Mama Still Got It” talking about finding your confidence and feeling good about yourself as a mother, while also trying to find your way as a parent.

We get to meet Aljaz and Janette’s close friend and doctor, Dr. Nikki Lack, whom by the way is best friends with none other then Craig Revel Horwood. They talk about what Aljaz and Janette are like as patients, the importance of staying calm (especially as first time parents), and the understanding that every pregnancy journey is completely different and unique. 

Having a baby means needing more space, but where to begin, and where did they move to? Aljaz and Janette talk about the stress of moving, using an interior designer, and the designers give us some of their most important “do’s and don’t’s” if you’re thinking about moving or doing some interior design to your home. 

Aljaz and Janette have some BIG news to share… they are PREGNANT! But how did they find out? How did they tell their family and friends? Who found out first? And just how difficult was it to hide it while performing on stage? We find all this out in episode 2!
