Truth & Movies: A Little White Lies Podcast

The LWLies Truth & Movies podcast is back… and now it's in video form. This is the soft launch of our brand new format, where the LWLies team will be discussing the big movies, talking to our favourite directors and stars, and dedicating episodes to festivals, the best in physical media, industry trends, breaking news stories, or anything else that we feel like discussing. This first episode is a work in progress as part of a beta phase, with final roll-out expected in early 2027. In this episode, host Leila Latif is joined by Hannah Strong to celebrate the release of Eleanor Coppola's Making Marie Antoinette, out in UK cinemas from 23 Oct and streaming on MUBI from 6 November, and to also look deeper into the "Making of…" movie and films about filmmaking. The pair also go deep on Theo Rollason's Queer Edward II which will hopefully be released into UK cinemas in 2027.
