It's funny because the soldiers in this are small. Anyway, the boys discuss how fun this concept is, the impact it had on their childhood, the Burger King toys they inspired, and heaps heaps more! In this 2nd instalment of his War Trilogy, Matt and Tyrie discuss Joe Dante's signature satirical style on full display in 1997's The 2nd Civil War! From cracking jokes to predicting the future of mainstream media and politics, this HBO made for TV movie really has it all...it even has Coburn!

New Year, new TRILOGY! The boys have returned from their summer break to bring you Joe Dante's War Trilogy. Starting off with Matinee (1993) and folks we're just gonna say it... This film is about as hidden as a hidden gem can get. It's a meaty discussion covering the importance of storytelling and cinemas, the power of fear and much much more. Happy listening.

It's Christmas Eve and Tripod is back for one last holiday gift...but this one is more like a lump of dang coal! In the (merciful) final instalment of the trilogy, Tyrie, Matt and his brother Ben take Disney's Noelle to task, lamenting it's missed opportunities, under-utilised talent and wondering who it's actually for.
