Everyone Knows: The Circleville Letters
Season 2, Ep. 154
•
In 1976, the residents of Circleville, Ohio started receiving anonymous letters and whoever was writing them knew everyone's secrets. Affairs, corruption, personal threats. The campaign escalated for nearly two decades, culminating in a booby-trapped gun on a bus driver's route, a conviction that left more questions than answers, and letters that kept arriving even after the supposed writer was locked up in isolation. The identity of the Circleville Letter Writer has never been confirmed.
