Waiting In Peace

Season 2025, Ep. 46

What does it look like to experience peace in a season of waiting? In Week 2 of our Christmas series, The Wait Is Over, Mike Meeks unpacks the story of Simeon in Luke 2 — a man who waited for the Messiah with deep trust, active faith, clear eyes, and a heart full of joy. His life shows us that peace isn’t passive… it’s something God grows in us as we walk with Him.

In this message, we’ll explore how peaceful waiting often looks like:

Trust (Choosing to rely on God even when we can’t see the full story)

Active Faith (Stepping forward in obedience, even before the path is clear)

Eyes Open to God’s Presence (Letting Christ’s peace rule in our hearts)

Joy (Discovering the eternal hope Jesus brings — our Prince of Peace)

Through Simeon’s example, we’ll learn how God meets us in our waiting, forms us through it, and fills us with a peace the world cannot give.

    What does it mean in today's world to truly live like Christ? What does it look like to live worthy of the calling God has given you? In Week 4 of Made For This, Hosanna Wong teaches from Ephesians 4:1–6, where Paul shifts from reminding us who we are in Christ to how we are called to live because of Christ.Our position in Christ changes our posture in life. Living worthy looks like humility, gentleness, patience, love, and making every effort to guard unity. Not just looking spiritual—but living like Jesus in our everyday relationships. • 40. Made For God's Love

    35:25||Season 2025, Ep. 40
    How does Christ's love change how we live? In Week 3 of our series Made for This: A Study through the Book of Ephesians, we unpack a prayer that Paul prays, and how we too can be praying for our lives, family, friends, and church as well. In Ephesians 3:14-21 we learn to pray for strength, love, knowledge, fullness, and more... because God can do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine! So we should ask. We should imagine. And we should expect in faith that God will do exceedingly above and beyond our requests. How does Christ's love change how we live? It empowers us to live with bolder faith than ever before.

    23:40||Season 2025, Ep. 38
    Have you ever felt defeated? Have you ever felt weighed down by disappointment, discouragement, or uncertainty of the future? In the final week of our series, Living Lightly, we discover how Jesus called his disciples, and calls his disciples today to drop a posture of defeat, follow Jesus' pace, and live in victory by the power of God. It turns out, what we thought was a symbol of defeat might be exactly what God wants to use for our victory and the victory of others. We might think our story is over. But we are not done, yet.
