The US and Ukraine have signed a memorandum of intent - suggesting they will agree the minerals deal which was derailed by Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky’s televised row in the Oval Office. At the same time, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio says the US will walk away from peace talks with Russia if a ceasefire isn’t agreed. So is the relationship between Washington and Kyiv healing? US foreign policy specialist Professor Scott Lucas says that depends on which factions within Trump's top team win the president's ear.
