    EH OH!After alluding to it in many other episodes, Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa Laa and Po are FINALLY getting almost two hours (sorry) to themselves.Maybe the most globally well-known of Ragdoll Productions' productions, this show is the King of all under-5s entertainment. We really hope that we have done justice to this ground-breaking piece of media - and maybe now, we'll never have to talk about it ever again.We reference the documentary Big Hug! The Story of the Teletubbies a lot in this episode, and we really recommend that you give it a watch to properly appreciate the amazing work of the team behind this show.See you in two weeks!Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/ThotsTVEmail us at Thotstv2002@gmail.comInstagram - http://bit.ly/th0tsTVTikTok - https://bit.ly/thotstvtiktokDiscord - https://discord.gg/e6prv4aYSubscribe - https://shows.acast.com/thots-tv

  • Live: Halloween Special

    56:46|
    Our first ever live recorded episode, courtesy of the Cheerful Earful comedy podcast festival!In this very special episode, we each take a piece of media that scared us as children and unleash it on a live audience.This was SUCH a fun day, and we are so incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to see us! This was something of an experiment, as we have never done anything like this before, and you all made the experience so fun, warm, and welcoming. We hope to perform again as soon as we are allowed to.Huge HUGE thank you also to Cheerful Earful who made the whole thing possible (as well as being the nicest people in the biz).Do excuse the change in sound quality two thirds of the way though - it has nothing to do with CE's sound engineering and everything to do with Elsie being a bad editor.Hopefully see you again very soon, and have a wonderful Halloween!Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/ThotsTVEmail us at Thotstv2002@gmail.comInstagram - http://bit.ly/th0tsTVTikTok - https://bit.ly/thotstvtiktokDiscord - https://discord.gg/e6prv4aYSubscribe - https://shows.acast.com/thots-tv
  • 9. Courage the Cowardly Dog

    01:44:22||Season 4, Ep. 9
    Stupid dawg! We've decided to continue our spooky October episodes with a childhood trauma machine from across the pond. That's right, it's Cartoon Network time again! And because Meg and Elsie were brought up as Freeview purists, we have graciously allowed Laura to lead this episode. We won't lie to you - Courage the Cowardly Dog was straight up terrifying and we need to talk about it. If you have any repressed memories around watching daytime TV while off school sick, prepare to relive them.Digressions include; Laura's dad's love of the Ocean's trilogy, our individual tolerance for body-horror, and the run from the light switch to the stairs when you're the last off to bed. Scary stuff! Enjoy!
  • 8. Children of the Stones

    01:52:28||Season 4, Ep. 8
    "Leave the stones? You never will." Described as "inappropriately" scary, this 1976 drama is considered to be a landmark in quality children's drama. And to be honest, it is. British film was in the middle of a psychedelic folk-horror experiment, and it somehow managed to trickle down to ITV children's broadcasting. This is the result; a generation of traumatised adults! We'll be discussing atonal caterwauling, received pronunciation, the burning sexual chemistry between Veronica Strong and Gareth Thomas, and why people seem to hate Morris dancing.Happy day!
  • 7. The Secret Show

    01:35:18||Season 4, Ep. 7
    VICTOR! Are you still alive???We were going to cover The Fluffy Bunny Show with Sweet Little Granny this week, but unfortunately that time slot was needed urgently. The Secret Show is something that we are INCREDIBLY fond of, and have been for a very long time. Not only is it one of the funniest shows we have covered, but it also features some of our most beloved characters (looking at you, Ray and Ray's boys <33333). As it was Elsie's birthday on the day of recording, we fancied something requiring minimal research and maximum fun. It's low on the intellect and high on laughs - what we mean is, this is no Tracy Beaker! And halfway through, we take a break to argue about which one of us is the coolest - answers on a postcard please.Enjoy!
  • 6. Bootleg ft. Jasmine Hale

    01:23:37||Season 4, Ep. 6
    The quick brown dog jumped over the lazy dog... As we are busy planning our UPCOMING LIVE SHOW(!!!) this week we are releasing an episode that has been buried deep on Elsie's hard drive for seven months. Jasmine is back to chat everything Bootleg! Some say it's a mini series, others say it's a TV movie. It really depends on the channel you saw it on way back in 2002. This one is so niche that were it not for YouTube dot com, we might have brushed it off as a collective false memory. Themes include politics, authoritarian governments, state surveillance, and illicit black market substances. But for kids! Huge thanks to Jasmine for lending us her voice and opinions - we value them so very highly. Regular programming will continue in two weeks. Love ya!
  • 5. The Basil Brush Show

    01:45:44||Season 4, Ep. 5
    BOOM BOOM!!! We're back with another episode voted for by YOU the listener. Basil Brush is a very funny show that is unbearable to watch. It has aged well. It has aged poorly. We love it. We hate it. We are very capable of nuance, as it turns out. Watch out for terrible puns, casual sexism, flagrant disregard for age-appropriate programming, Y2K clothing, and good old 2000s body-shaming. You asked for this one.
