A podcast that celebrates storytelling and the people and locations who inspire those stories.

EGM Productions Theatre Company is looking for scripts for a new audio drama podcast due to be released on all free streaming services October 2020. 'They're Only Stories' is an audio drama podcast that celebrates spooky stories and the locations that inspire those stories. Each episode will be an original audio drama written by a different writer and performed and designed in studio by professional actors and audio engineers. For this callout, we are looking for audio scripts that are inspired by the haunted Loftus Hall in Ireland. Scripts must be between 7 - 12 pages, 1 - 3 characters, and they must be original and not tied to any other organisation. It must be a full story within the script and it must be in some way linked to Loftus Hall. We are NOT looking for re-telling of already existing legends and stories. We are only accepting audio scripts, so please do not send short stories or extracts from stage plays. There is no prize fund for this callout but your work, if selected, will be produced and released to a professional standard.
