Today on the podcast I am delighted to announce that Evan Prendergast will be making his return on the podcast!Normally having a guest on like Evan, we would be focusing on his work with his band Low Violent, Uncultivates and Worn Out but for this particular episode, the primary focus is going to be about how Evan is the proud owner of Dead Cult Promotions, a staple of the Metal, Hardcore, Punk and Alternative music scene here in Ireland.I'll be chatting with Evan about why he started Dead Cult in the first place, how he built it up to what it is now, what are some of the major things he's learned along the way, what he looks for in band's to put on and what the ethos of Dead Cult is all about. Today on the podcast I am very excited to say that I have Casey Nolan joining me, the bassist for the awesome Portland Hardcore band, Dry Socket!This episode comes just a few days ahead of the band's Irish debut, as on the 29th of August the band will be coming to Ireland for a run of shows supporting another incredible American Hardcore band, SPACED, on their Ireland & UK headline tour.The band will be first playing Cork, Dali on the 29th of August with support from Stanton's Grave and Poser. They will then be making their way to Dublin on the 30th to Lost Lane (a show your truly is the promoter for) with support from Poser and Lost To Life.
