The UK Surf Show
Ep. 165 James A Grant
Ep. 165
•
Ever looked at a surf photo and thought, 'I wish I'd taken that'? Well, today's guest has made a career out of making the rest of us look like we've got a rubbish camera!
We're joined by photographer, artist and surf culture storyteller James A. Grant.
James has been capturing the characters, places and moments that make surfing what it is, but there's a lot more to his work than just pointing a camera at a few nice waves.
We'll be chatting about his art show, Reinventing the Ride, exploring the ideas behind the project, the connection between surfing, creativity and sustainability, and what inspires him to document our surf culture.
We'll also find out a bit more about the man behind the lens, his adventures and what makes him tick.
