Climate Changes

Season 2, Ep. 5

Climate change refers to long-term shifts in weather patterns and average temperatures on Earth. It is primarily caused by human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes, which release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. These gases trap heat from the sun and cause the planet to warm up, leading to a wide range of impacts, including rising sea levels, more frequent and intense heatwaves, droughts, floods, and stronger storms.

The effects of climate change are already being felt around the world, with rising temperatures leading to the melting of glaciers and ice caps, the loss of biodiversity, and changes in ecosystems. It also poses significant risks to human health, food security, water resources, and the economy.
