After a little break we are BACK with another incredible guest episode: the queer, sustainable fashion designer Patrick McDowell!!!! Patrick McDowell grew up in Liverpool and first understood the importance of fashion at school after upcycling a new school bag. Patrick went on to study Fashion at the world renowned Central Saint Martin’s in London where his career skyrocketed, and since his name has been on the lips of fashion royalty, Anna Wintour, as well as creating collaborations with icons such as Katharine Hamnett and the one and only GC, Gemma Collins. Patrick McDowell is also a Global Ambassador for Graduate Fashion Week and the Sustainability Director for the Italian fashion house Pinko (there really isn’t a lot they don’t/can’t do). In this weeks episode we go around the houses and really do discuss anything and everything from the importance of fashion and a creative education, how sustainability impacts us all, what it’s like to be nominated for a Vogue Award and creating a collection during lockdown. We are SO grateful that Patrick took the time to talk to us this week so openly and so candidly. We had the best time ever and we know you will too!!!
