Their Pitch

36 - Euro 2022 special 8

In the 8th and last episode of the Euro 2022 Special, Mia Eriksson and Willie Kirk are once again joined by data analyst Jesper Haglöf from the football analyst platform PlaymakerAI and women's football expert and commentator from Viaplay, Pär Lagerström.

Jesper, who was with us in the preview episode before the tournament kicked off, is happy that his simulation of the outcome came true and Pär gives us his thoughts about England winning and how Swedish football can benefit from it.

Willie, who recently was appointed as the women's football director in Leicester Football club, shares his thoughts about why Sarina Wiegman had international success once again and we also talk about Chelsea's newest addition; Swedish national team player Johanna Rytting Kaneryd who was rumoured to have signed for the Blues when we recorded this.

What do Willie, Jesper and Pär think of Johanna's chances to break into Emma Hayes' already star stacked attacking line?

Thanks to each and every one of you that have been with us throughout this Euro Special. We love you all. Please keep on listening, leave a review and subscribe to this podcast!
