A Conversation With Martha Treves & Lia Gomez-Lang (Worcester Film Festival Special)
This is the third episode of our 4-part mini series in partnership with Worcester Film Festival. With the first day of Worcester Film Festival fast approaching (25th September 2024), we're building the excitement with 4 exclusive episodes featuring filmmakers and actors whose films will be screened at this year's festival.
In the third episode, Marcus has a conversation with Martha Treves and Lia Gomez-Lang. Writer and director Martha, alongside producer Lia, have a fascinating conversation with Marcus about what it takes to get a project off the ground, their journey's into the world of film as well as want went into the making of the short film "Something Else".
“Something Else” follows estranged daughter Lily as she returns home to assist her mother in the search of her lost beloved pet “Shadow”. In turn the film explores loneliness and separation as mother and daughter try to find a way back into their distancing relationship.
Together Martha and Lia run the film production company "RAX Films".
"Something Else" will be screened at Worcester Film Festival at 2:30pm on Friday 27th September and 9am on the Saturday the 28th September 2024.
