The First Or Fence Story

I haven't made a podcast in months, that doesn't mean The First Or Fence Story wasn't unfolding. It's been a Wild 8 months in Mooresville but First Or Fence prevailed in the first of many seasons of The First Or Fence Story. If you've listened to all the episodes I greatly appreciate it and I hope you liked them. While I won't have a weekly podcast to post each week I hope to continue to build up First Or Fence and myself in different ways. I hope everyone has a good day, thank you again.

It's nearly been a week since leaving home in Massachusetts and so much has already happened. I want to discuss my journey to get here in detail at some point but for now I just want to look onto this week and get ready for work. I will save the road trip and mission to find a job for a later date. Im excited to start my new job and can't wait to see what it's like. After another long day of walking into race shops I can happily say I've been hired. Monday I start at Speedway Fabrication Inorporated where they hang NASCAR Xfinity series body's for teams. I can't believe it took less Tham 48 hours but the grind has just begun and there's still a lot of work to do. I hope you enjoyed this episode and I will see everyone next time.

This episode is a little special because it is an emergency episode. I arrived in Mooresville yesterday and today I decided to begin the job search. On my second attempt I met a former NASCAR driver and on my third attempt I met a current NASCAR driver. After almost 22 years it's finally time to leave Massachusetts and First Or Fence my way through the next part of my life. Im ready to go and excited. I think I prepared well so all that is left to do is get there unpack and get a NASCAR job. Today I had nothing planned for the First Or Fence story, I winged the episode and talked about what was going on. The last few days I realized I blew my brain up by doing too many stressful things non stop so I've been trying to fix that. I also realized I wasn't following the my own rule of First Or Fence so I had to make a correction in my plan to match that.

The First Or Fence Story continues this week detailing how a simple Dale Earnhardt quote may have led me to something similar but on a way bigger scale. The time of departure is dwindling down and pretty soon I'll be waking up in Mooresville every morning. The next two weeks are going to fly by but I have a few more things to get done before leaving home.

In just 3 weeks I'll be setting out on my 750 mile drive down the country to my new home. If you ask me what my plans are when I arrive in Mooresville I will tell you to work for a NASCAR team. I may make it sound easy to do but the truth is I don't think it is easy I just think going there without a job lined up is the only option in order to truly practicing what this brand (First Or Fence) is about. Which is going all in and achieving the best possible outcome. So here is my unorthodox plan in doing so and how I hope it'll all work out.
