Cue the end of Beyoncé's "Summer Renaissance" bc it's giving "applause...round of applause" but for us completing this season not that mess of 3 hours that we had to watch that truly could have been an email.Well here we are. Because of course there's something racist to unearth in a contestant's past. Why on earth wouldn't there be? Why should casting and production have to vet the contestants they bring onto show after years of racism and violence perpetuated against marginalized communities? Why shouldn't we be running to accept Erich's half-assed apology? Why shouldn't we love and adore the resurgence of the Black square a la 2020?
