01:12:06After two stunning silvers from Tom Walsh in the shot put and then Eliza McCartney in the pole vault, we all awoke on Monday morning of the Glasgow 2024 World Indoor Champs to discover Hamish Kerr had flown to the top of the world with a 2.36 WL, =AR and PB victory in the high jump. And then to top it all off Geordie Beamish unleashed the most brutal kick in the final 100m of the men's 1500 to become world champion!So 10 athletes brought home four medals, seven top 5s, another top 10, multiple PBs and area records. That is one way to get us pumped on athletics in 2024!!
