Sport Ireland's Women in Sport week kicks off on Monday March 2nd.
The theme this year is 'Same Energy' which calls on communities across the country to bring the same energy, support and visibility to women's sport as men's sport by attending, watching and celebrating female sport at every level during Women in Sport week and beyond.
Our reporter David Seagrave was at the launch and spoke to Paralympian and World Para Athletics Champion, Orla Comerford, about the evolution of women’s sport in Ireland, and the ongoing challenges of visibility and participation in both women’s sport and para-athletics.
