Arguably the worst night in Unai Emery's reign. Villa were bad at Mollineux again. They lost to Wolves, again. Dropped points against a lower half of the table team. Again. And now it's a dogfight for Champions League and we're left hoping that Liam Rosenior is David Brent - but is that even good?

Out of the FA Cup but marching on in the league, Unai Emery fields a weakened team against Saudi Arabia... but they were actually good, until you know what. Lucas Digne disappoints again and Leon Bailey doesn't inspire much confidence and should Tammy Abraham be the main striker now?

The big question to ask from the Bournemouth game... would a punch in the face to Lucas Digne, a red card and suspension to one of our players and zero points from the match been better in the long run?

A third loss of the season to Brentford and two bad home defeats in January to burst the title challenge. Lots to discuss including the disallowed goal, the red card and an argument over Matt Cash and Conán's run-in with Damian Vidagany.

What a result in Newcastle. What a result in Turkey. Two strong performances and this group earn even more of our admiration as Leon Bailey returns.
