Guess who scored at Villa Park? That's right - the guy who hasn't scored in nine years. Aston Villa fall again, this time to Nottingham Forest. There's a goal at least. There's excitement at least, especially with Ibrahim Mbaye. But it's another bad day at the office and Unai Emery's decision to bring on Tammy Abraham at half time raises eyebrows.

Aston Villa's first point of the season doesn't deliver a goal, but we do have a shot on target to talk about. We even have sitters to marvel at. And, more seriously, we have a baller in goals. We discuss a better performance but what we're missing. The changes from the sideline. And the sitters, again.

Arsenal beat Aston Villa. But it's a new Aston Villa. They don't each other, yet. They're not all playing, yet. And, YES, we haven't had a shot on target but there are signs - there are signs!

The worst debut ever? Joao Gomes went from a hero to a liability very quickly in Brighton as a strikerless Villa were ran over the top of. Ollie Watkins didn't show and we discuss the 4-0 defeat, the transfers and where do we go now?

Aston Villa are Europa League champions. We have montages and poems and the whole kit and caboodle to mark the occasion.

Champions League baby! What a way to end the league season (effectively) and send us into a European final. These boys are heroes. The squad gets weaker each year and they still scale new heights. Even Austin MacPhee is getting praise again. But Liverpool are a mess and perhaps MacAllister sums that up right now.

That was special. That was joyous. That was football and Aston Villa at its best and we deserved it. This team deserved it. And under Unai Emery, Villa are headed to their first European final in 44 years after dismantling Nottingham Forest. We talk about how good that was and just how bad it got for Forest.

It all comes down to this. We could be in for the greatest three weeks ever. Or quite possibly some of the worst. We haven't set it up well with an all-time stinker against Spurs so how else could we mark it but a full show dedicated to WhatsApp Whinges.
