Jamie works as a groundworker by week and a motorbike racer by weekend. He’s spent the last ten years competing at the TT, and has become one of the event’s most successful privateers. In this episode of The TT Podcast he told Chris Pritchard and Steve Plater how he balances working life with a career on the road.
Like many of the riders who’ve been featured on this podcast, road-racing is in Jamie’s blood. Jamie shared how his father’s influence and support has paved his way to what he’s achieved so far.
In August 2019, Jamie won the Junior Classic TT - but he’s never had a win at the Isle of Man TT Races. Seeded at number 1 for the Supertwin race in 2022, Chris and Steve find out how confident he was feeling ahead of that year's TT.
