The new series of the TT podcast continues this week as racer and fellow podcaster Dom Herbertson joins Chris Pritchard and Steve Plater for the first part of their chat.

Not one for a quiet and easy life, Dom explains the work accident that led to the eye operation he underwent recently as well as going into what he remembers about his crash during the Senior TT this year after a successful two weeks beforehand.

As the younger of the two Herbertsons on the TT course, Dom discusses what it's like to share that passion with his father Mark and how watching him race as a kid inspired the drive he has now.

Dom also admits the ‘learning on the job’ start he had with road racing and how the MGP became his first road race before taking on the TT not long after, even if he started a little slower then expected.
