Many of you having been writing in with your questions about the far right party Reform UK. They still confound lots of us, particularly when it comes to understanding why family or friends might actually vote for them. In this episode, Cody fields SOME of the MANY questions we received about Nigel Fararsehole's merry band of arseholes. What do they actually stand for? Why are they allowed to be a business? And are being too harsh on the people that actually vote for them? Comedian Lou Sanders is our correspondant this week. She brought some a collection of fascinating stories and had, as Cody predicted only read the headlines, but turns out she knew more than she thought! 'AI isn't dangerous, it's just shit!' is the statement spilling out of Cody's mouth this week as he believes he's stumbled on a new theory. We're not all in danger of AI taking over and killing us, it's simply a story made up by the big billionaire bosses who've made a rubbish product and are too scared to admit it. What do you all think? Commentmaxxers get involved please! Plus Becky brings a tabloid story, UH OH!Here are the headlines discussed in this episode:https://www.express.co.uk/news/royal/2252720/prince-harry-amazon-deal-invictus-games/amphttps://www.thetimes.com/world/europe/article/dogs-dinner-michelin-chef-paris-2rrt0xpxvJoin us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/c/thetruthimopodcastBuy tickets to our next live show in October here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/cheerfulearful/2077487Follow The Truth (In My Opinion) on Instagram and Tiktok: @thetruthimoThe Truth (In My Opinion) is a comedy podcast hosted by Cody Dahler.Produced, recorded and edited by Becky Carewe-Jeffries for Daily Dose Productions.

Comedian Tadiwa Mahlunge is our correspondant this week. He prepared a pdf which was a podcast first and we really dig into his stories. This was the SUCH a good conversation and I urge you all to follow Tadiwa. He revealed a brand new take on why Palantir's involvement in our NHS is no good thing, plus more far right and billionaire madness. 'The billionaires are even ruining their tax havens now!' Cody and Becky are discussing their biggest news stories of the week and there's dogs, billionaires (again, tiring we know!!) and conspiracy theory riddled pensioners who are damaging UK traffic lights. A pretty standard week.Lots of excellent comments from the commentmaxxers this week, keep them coming please. Here are the headlines discussed in this episode:https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/sep/19/uk-conspiracy-theorists-destroying-traffic-scannershttps://www.wired.com/story/inside-dogs-anonymous-the-online-support-group-for-people-with-difficult-dogs/Join us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/c/thetruthimopodcastBuy tickets to our next live show in October here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/cheerfulearful/2077487Follow The Truth (In My Opinion) on Instagram and Tiktok: @thetruthimoThe Truth (In My Opinion) is a comedy podcast hosted by Cody Dahler.Produced, recorded and edited by Becky Carewe-Jeffries for Daily Dose Productions.

Comedian Jen Brister is our correspondent this week, brought to you from our live show at The London Podcast Festival. Her headlines covered the UK Government's ban on trade and services involving illegal Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, Trump's mad commitment of 5,000 dollars to voters if the Republicans keep hold of the senate at the mid terms and the misindentification of the under 19s Pakistan cricket team as asylum seekers by far right extremists. Jen is on tour so make sure you grab some tickets to see her, but please don’t email her asking her to come to your city, she was very passionate about that. And don’t email me about coming to your city either because I am trapped in this podcast episode, speaking to Jen Brister! Comedian and satirist Tom Walker is our correspondent this week. He brings, in classic Jonathan Pie style, a righteous fury about Nigel Farage's apparent inability to listen to important conversations about accepting illegal money for his party, Reform. There are pills being popped but not the fun kind, as OAPs are finding their over prescription of over the counter drugs being responsible for sending them to A&E. And Trump is at it again, this time in the form of dodging taxes. And an especially excellent headline for our subscribers, join us on Apple Podcasts or Patreon.Join us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/c/thetruthimopodcastTom is on tour, make sure you grab ticket for his upcoming shows here: https://jonathanpie.com/Watch the video version of this podcast on The Truth (In My Opinion)'s YouTube channel on 16th September.Follow The Truth (In My Opinion) on Instagram and Tiktok: @thetruthimopodThe Truth (In My Opinion) is a comedy podcast hosted by Cody Dahler.Produced, recorded and edited by Becky Carewe-Jeffries for Daily Dose Productions.
