Kane wins the Ballon d’Or! And Real win El Clasico!

•

It’s a Ballon d’Or special edition of the Totally European Show, with Seb Stafford-Bloor, Tom Williams and Pol Ballus all joining James Richardson live to discuss King Harry taking football's biggest individual crown.

On the pitch, Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid become the first team to beat Barcelona in La Liga this season, with Kylian Mbappe scoring twice in a 2-1 win. That leaves Atletico Madrid just two points off the leaders.

In Germany, Bayern win 3-1 at Freiburg without Vincent Kompany on the touchline as he recovers in hospital after collapsing during training. Niclas Fullkrug can’t stop scoring for Werder Bremen, while in Italy there are still four teams unbeaten after eight games for the first time ever.

And in Ligue 1, protests in Paris affect PSG’s top of the table clash with Lyon.
