Lorraine is an Irish breast cancer survivor working in digital health and has helped create a new HSE app giving patients the tools to prevent lymphoedema after treatment. For many people, finishing cancer treatment is meant to mark the end of a long and frightening journey. For thousands of survivors however, another health challenge can quietly begin afterwards — one many patients have never even heard of. That condition is lymphoedema. For one Irish healthcare professional and breast cancer survivor, discovering that risk during her own treatment helped inspire a digital solution that could now support thousands of patients across Ireland.Listen to what Lorraine had to say!

On the 18th of February, Joachim McNulty tragically lost his life with his car slipped on algae at Belderrig Pier in Co Mayo. Now his daughter Joanna McNulty is calling for measures to be put in place urgently for all piers and slipways in Co Mayo to prevent this from happening to anyone else.
