Scott Stephens, who is filling in for Tommy Marren, spoke with Zoe Lawlor, IPSC chair and sporting and cultural officer and John McDonagh, a MIPSC member, about the upcoming Israel v. Ireland game and the lack of Irish tickets available for the game.

Scott Stephens, who is sitting in for Tommy Marren, spoke with Hilda Gregg, manager of the Mayo branch of Safe Ireland, a domestic abuse charity, about the upcoming investment from government into awareness campaigns around the "manosphere" and "trad wife" influencers.

This week as part of "Our Power, Our Future" segment, Scott Stephens, who is filling in for Tommy Marren, spoke to Marcos Byrne, a policy manager at Wind Energy Ireland. Marcos discussed the Irish electricity grid and what its development could look like in the future.

Two time liver transplant recipient Dr Karol Donnelly will be competing in the British Transplant Games in August and is the only person from Mayo who'll be representing Ireland. Teresa Byrne is from Lispatrick, which is just beside the Connaught centre of excellence on the way from Knock to Ballyhaunis.In 1951, Teresa and her sister Kathleen stood at the crossroad junction of Reisk to wave at the newly crowned All-Ireland champions as they returned home from Dublin to Mayo.On Tuesday evening, Teresa stood at the very same junction 75 years later, as we gathered with the local community to wave at the Mayo team as they passed on their way to Ballyhaunis.To her astonishment, the bus stopped at the junction and the Sam Maguire cup was taken out of the bus at Reisk with Andy, Jack and some other members of the team.Teresa and her daughter Maria joined Tommy Marren in studio to chat this morning. Swinford woman Ciara Hughes has been married to her husband Ben for the last 3 years. Ciara is trying to get Ben to the Beaumont Hospital for life saving brain surgery but the Belfast trust have still not sent over the referral letter. She has being fighting with the hospital in Belfast and the head neurologist to get Ben to Beaumont since March and has not seen any progression. This is putting stress on both Ciara and Ben and also on their mental health as this is life threatening for Ben.Listen in to Ciara and Ben's story.
