This morning brother of Jennifer Poole and key representative of the campaign Jason Poole joined Tommy Marren on the show to discuss the Jennie's Law campaign. Jennie's Law is advocating for the creation of a Domestic Abuse Register in Ireland. In 2021 Jennifer Poole lost her life when she was stabbed to death by her ex partner. Jennifer's ex partner had been convicted for the assault of his former partner but she was not aware of his abusive history. The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness and protect individuals who are at risk by ensuring convicted domestic abusers are listed on a national register. You can hear the full interview here.
