They discuss the impressive showings from three of the youngest players in the side, Jake O'Brien's form at centre-back and the continuing rise of James Garner. Later, they're joined by historian and author Rob Sawyer to talk about the decade-long career of Tommy Wright who passed away this week. The fellas review the FA Cup defeat to Sunderland which has further deflated the optimism built up around Everton and their positive end to 2025. They discuss Moyes's demeanour, the treatment of the squad's younger players and the possible strategy for the remainder of the season. Finally Paul challenges Adam and Lyndon to recall all 9 of the Blues' home penalty shootouts since the late 1990s

Andy, Adam and Lyndon discuss the 4-2 defeat to Brentford, the annoying 1-1 draw with basement boys Wolves and the refereeing nonsense that ensured that Everton finished the latter game with 9 men. They offer their thoughts on the team's current failings, the David Moyes's stubbornness and the manager's refusal to make changes against Wolves until late while leaving Tyler Dibling kicking his heels on the bench. Andy, Lyndon and a cold-afflicted Adam give their instant reaction to Everton's impressive 2-0 win at the City Ground, secured by a patched-up squad that was inspired by James Garner. They discuss a tremendous performance by a number of supposed second-stringers, laud Thierno Barry for his part and ponder who might keep their place against Brentford on Sunday if a couple of the absentees against Forest return to contention.

Andy, Paul and Lyndon review Everton's disappointing 1-0 defeat to Arsenal in which they failed to lay a glove on the league leaders even though they should have had a penalty.
