Graduate of The Writer’s Studio (2017), editor extraordinaire, and sci-fi/fantasy writer, Elise spends most of her time figuring out how to make stories better — both other people’s and her own. One of her favourite things is talking with other writers about their stories. When she’s not basking in the English language, you can find her at the local climbing gym or out on some crag in BC, Canada, dragging her body up some rocks.

Miraya graduated with Elise from The Writers Studio in 2017 and is our organization queen. Not only does she keep our podcast on track, she runs our monthly writing group with our TWS alumni. She’s an avid equestrian with two horses and can be found competing in the local jumper divisions. When she’s not horsing around, she can be found writing up a storm, reading and ignoring her to do list, or spoiling her three rescue dogs.
