Okay, so, just to clear up, my new series of short stories are split across two formats, but I’m counting them as one series. Some of them are video micro fiction, such as “<a href="https://open.substack.com/pub/raymondwriter/p/stories-5-dreadnought?r=1iy9u4&amp;utm_campaign=post&amp;utm_medium=web" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Dreadnought</a>”, “<a href="https://open.substack.com/pub/raymondwriter/p/stories-4-ancient-stones?r=1iy9u4&amp;utm_campaign=post&amp;utm_medium=web" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Ancient Stones</a>”, and “<a href="https://open.substack.com/pub/raymondwriter/p/stories-1-the-cat-lady?r=1iy9u4&amp;utm_campaign=post&amp;utm_medium=web" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Cat Lady</a>” — short sharp blasts of fiction to get your day started. And now, in partnership with the brilliant Terrier Productions, BRG is putting out some longer stories, beginning with the story extracted from my latest book,&nbsp;Abandon All Hope, called “<a href="https://open.substack.com/pub/raymondwriter/p/sandcastle-dynasty?r=1iy9u4&amp;utm_campaign=post&amp;utm_medium=web" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Sandcastle Dynasty: A Welsh Short Story About the Welsh Short Story</a>”. “Ecorché” (apologies, but I don’t seem to be able to get the acute diacritic above the capital “E” on substack) is the second of the audio short stories. I have written them specifically for this format, written for me to read, and for your ears to receive (if you are so inclined.
