He singlehandedly fucked up the economy, he illegally took this country to war, and he’s desecrating the people’s house. And along the way, he’s personally enriching himself. He doesn’t care about you.

I sat down with Brian Karem, longtime political journalist & reporter to try to make sense of where we’re at - what’s Trump really up to? Is Trump really all there? Trump threw a 250th anniversary State Fair in DC this weekend and nobody showed up. I mean nobody. It’s super easy to make fun of, but the whole thing is sad. Trump has ruined our 250th. He’s humanly incapable of unifying this country. And so the American people will celebrate our 250th not as one unified country. But as a divided, siloed, balkanized country.

I sat down again with my Socialist friend Xander Schultz and we discussed how best to put forward a positive vision for voters to counter what Trump and MAGA put out there. One takeaway - The left needs to unabashedly display more pure love for this country.
