When it comes to Swedish names and places, however, I will mainly use the Swedish pronunciation. Before I begin, it is also worth mentioning that in Sweden, we always address one another by first name. Using someone’s first name is not a sign of disrespect; in Swedish culture, we do not use titles like "Mr." and "Mrs." or surnames, regardless of whether the person is a friend, a stranger, a teacher, or a doctor.
