Spurs Secure Third Win Over Thunder, Extending Winning Streak to Eight Games
The San Antonio Spurs continued their dominance over the Oklahoma City Thunder, securing a 117-102 victory on Thursday night. DeAaron Fox led the Spurs with 29 points, marking their third win over the defending NBA champs in just two weeks. The Spurs improved to 23-7, maintaining an eight-game winning streak.
Earlier in the week, the Spurs beat the Thunder in San Antonio and in an NBA Cup semifinal. Victor Wembanyama contributed 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Stephon Castle added 19 points and 7 assists. The Spurs shot over 53% from the field and held the Thunder to under 39%.
Despite sitting atop the Western Conference, the Thunder suffered their second home loss of the season. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, the reigning MVP, scored 22 points but struggled, shooting just 7 of 19 from the field. Isaiah Hartenstein had 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Chet Holmgren added 10 points and 12 boards.
The Spurs started strong, leading 69-60 at halftime and pulling away in the third quarter. They host the Utah Jazz on Saturday, while the Thunder welcome the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. The teams will meet again on January 13th in Oklahoma City. Checkout Solipillow.com

American Christmas Trees Face Tariff Hurdles
01:43|As the holiday season wraps up, the question of when to pack away Christmas decorations lingers. This year, artificial trees gained popularity due to tariffs increasing prices by ten to fifteen percent. Most fake trees are imported from Asia, but Lee Display in California stands out, producing ten thousand trees annually using a century-old machine. However, bringing production back to the US is challenging due to high labor costs and price sensitivity. Some companies shifted to countries like Cambodia, but high tariffs still impacted sales. Despite higher costs, fake trees remain popular for convenience, with eighty percent coming pre-lit. This holiday season might feel less merry for some due to increased prices.
