George Gervin: From Iceman to Hollywood

George Gervin, the legendary San Antonio Spurs player known as the Iceman, is making waves in Hollywood with his acting debut in the sports drama Marty Supreme. He plays Lawrence, a ping pong club owner in Manhattan, inspired by Herwald Lawrence, one of the first Black business owners in Midtown Manhattan.
